Honey Garlic Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

Chicken wings                                                                500 gms

Pepper powder                                                              ½ tsp

Lemon                                                                              1/2

Cornflour                                                                         3 tbsp

Maida                                                                               3 tbsp

Garlic chopped                                                               2 tsp

Soya Sauce                                                                      2 tbsp

Red chilli sauce                                                              2 tbsp

Honey                                                                              2 tbsp

Red chilli flakes                                                             1 tsp

Dry roasted white sesame seeds                                1 tsp

Spring onion greens                                                     1 tbsp

Salt                                                                                   as required

Oil                                                                                     as required

Method:

  • In a bowl take chicken wings. Add salt, pepper powder & lemon juice. Mix well and marinate for 30 minutes.
  • In another bowl mix maida, cornflour and salt.
  • Roll the marinated chicken in maida-cornflour mixture and keep it in a plate.
  • In a pan heat oil for deep frying. Deep fry the chicken wings for 4-5 minutes until it turns golden and crispy.
  • To prepare the sauce, in a pan take 4 tbsp of oil.
  • Add garlic and sauté for a minute.
  • Add soya sauce, red chilli sauce, honey and red chilli flakes.
  • Stir and let the sauce boil for a minute so that it thickens.
  • Now add the fried wings and mix so that all the chicken pieces are well coated with the sauce.
  • Serve hot and garnish with dry roasted white sesame seeds and finely chopped spring onion greens.
